| What mods to you have planned for
the future? |
Undecided as of now….. Either a DART block Procharged
347 or 460+Big Block with 250 shot for my 30th B-day.
|
| |
| What was your original goal for
the car(s)? |
| To be able to beat H/C/I- LS-1’s.. Mission Accomplished
;-) |
| |
| What is your present goal for car(s)? |
Build an low 9 second “Weekend Warrior” |
| |
| What was your reason for buying
the car(s)? |
The first time I ever went “dream shopping”
for a mustang I was 16, I came across several nice GT’s…
When out of nowhere the dealer roared up in a 95 crystal
white Cobra “R”… At 16 I couldn’t
afford $37,995 Now.. at 26 I can’t afford nor justify
chopping up a beautiful 45,000+ car for street duty/drag
racing….so I settled for the next best thing J
|
| |
| What other cars have you considered
buying/presently own? |
| 2002 Firehawk Trans Am/1998 Corvette… I have owned
a 99 SS Camaro, Stout as they are stock…I just realized
my heart lies in the sound and looks of an SN-95 Cobra.
|
| |
| What are some of your Car / Driver
achievements? |
So far my greatest achievement has been meeting so many
new friends, all stemming from my first SSOTN Nats attendance,
(2005 fall). Who would have thought ONE day has brought
so many new friends into my life. |
| |
| Shout outs to people that helped
you achieve these goals? |
First I have to thank Bryan Glanden (WBG) For inviting
me to my first SSOTN Nats……you created a MONSTER
;-)
I want to thank Matt Grieve (MattG2), Adam Arndt (Black90GT),
Eric Berman (RdRunnr), Rich Johnson (94 GTR) and Bob Lunner
(Rel3rd) for showing me all the in’s and outs of modifying
a 302 J
And also want to send a big thanks to Joey and Anthony
at ACA Performance for their patience in helping me tune
around this “Finicky” 94 cobra J4J1 computer.
I may not be easy to deal with as a customer… but
I’m always in your corner as a friend!
Last but not least I want to thank my wife for not killing
me when she came across the credit card statement for my
last buildup ;-) |
| |
| What is your Best 1/4 time? |
Hmmmm why don’t you come find out this November
18th ;-) |
| |
| Do you have any regrets along the
way? |
| I regret not taking Bryan’s advice and building a
blown 347 right off the bat! But hey.. we all have to learn
if you wanna PLAY you better be ready to PAYJ |
| |
| What was or is your favorite vehicle
to this day and why? |
| I would have to say this Cobra is my favorite, besides breaking
a 13 year “pack a day” smoking habit… I
have never had such a Love/HATE relationship as this…..
There are days I LOVE my car….. then again there are
days I could just run it right off a pier into the ocean J |
| |
| What other things do you enjoy
besides cars? |
| I enjoy cooking, (especially bbq/smoking), water sports
(wakeboarding/waterskiing), Wine collecting (Bully Hill Vineyards
ROCKS!!!!) and most of all partying with good friends! |
| |
| What upcoming events in 2006 do
you plan on racing in if any? |
| I am primarily a NATS junkie! So keep a look out for me
on Nov.18th. |
| |
| What is your favorite thing about
the Nats? |
| My favorite thing is the comradery amongst the members-Whether
it be record breaking runs… or putting the pistons through
the hood at the line…even if some members don’t
necessarily “get along” ALL the time…..
We RESPECT each other…. and above all, are ALWAYS there
to lend a helping hand…. That to me is what being a
true “Super Stallion” is all about! |
| |
| How did you find SSOTN? |
| Bryan Glanden told me about an all mustang event at Cecil…
I have been hooked ever since ;-) |
| |
Congrats to Ronald “Gator” Jackson Jr.
for being the SSOTN Featured Member for September 2006.
